Thank-you!
Today I moved all of our posts from Kilimanjaro2006.com over to CarrieAndJonathan.com.
The trip was so instrumental to our relationship that it seemed rather ridiculous to only link to Kilimanjaro2006.com, and not have the posts on this site as well.
As I’ve been moving the posts over, I’ve been cleaning them up.
And looking at the mistakes we made, even just in posting things online, I’ve really been reminded of how little we knew when we went. ![]()
I’m also reminded how much we were bolstered and supported by you, the people who believed in us.
We were just a couple of young people with a dream of climbing a mountain.
And we did it… but certainly not without your help, support, and encouragement.
So to those of you who knew us then, and to those of you who know us now, thank-you for your faith in us, and your support and encouragement!
We’re excited about the future, and we’re working on a few really great things in the present. More info and updates on that soon…
The purpose for this post today is really just to say that Carrie and I appreciate you so much.
Thank-you!

I didn’t know you then, but I certainly know you now, & I love reading what you have to say!
Hi Jonathan & Carrie,
Just wanted to say hi and congratulations on your new life adventures together.
I have also added a link to this blog from mine.
Cheers to a successful 2009.
Hey! We appreciate you 2 very much too! You both have been on some amazing adventures (and we’re all still “young”). Lots more fun to come. We can’t wait to see what you both accomplish and conquer in the next 10 years.
Love,
Brian and Jamie

It’s wonderful to have such appreciative children and to see you grow up to be such giving adults. Thank-you for including us in your lives and ventures — it makes our lives richer and we are grateful to you too!
You’re welcome!
