From David, Panama to Boquete, Panama

The Wheels on the bus go round and round!
We took a school bus from David to Boquete. You can see the bus station in David, Panama, and the bus stop (at the city park in Boquete, Panama) on the map below.

This is a map of Boquete, Panama (below). It’s just a zoomed in version of the map above, but it’s zoomed in on the town that’s at the top of the above map (which, if you didn’t figure it out, is Boquete.)
So far, we’re really liking it here (even with the non-stop rain caused by Ida on the Caribbean side and other weather patterns forming on the Atlantic side).
Boquete is a really nice town in the mountains.
At the time of posting, the only landmarks I had put on here were:

  • The location of the awesome place where we’re staying (which wasn’t built when the satellite pictures were taken.
  • The grocery store where we bought groceries for the next few days.
  • The bus station in Boquete (which is actually Boquete city park, and has a nice gazebo in the middle of it).
  • Pasteleria Alemana (pastry shop just outside Boquete that we hoped was a German bakery, which it isn’t, but is a good place for sweets and hot chocolate.

However, if you’re looking at this map after November 5, 2009, you’ll likely find more landmarks on here as we’ll be doing exploring and adding Boquette restaurants and sights in the next week or two.

Wow, how did you do that? Maps and all! They really add to the information and make it understandable.
    Will you go hiking tomorrow?
Baja Mono is interesting, you can walk there from here. Keep up the good work and have fun!
